The Student Experience & Engagement Team invites and encourages you to help bring together students who share your interests, hobbies, educational goals, etc. Chances are good that if you want to start a club in something you’re interested in, so does someone else.

Let’s Get Started!

The process for starting a new club at Loyalist College is outlined below. Please note that this may take several weeks.

 
 
  • Review the benefits and the Club Leader Guide to determine if you are ready to start a club or if a club already exists that interests you.

  • Complete the Student Club Application. Please reply to each question, providing as much detail as possible.

  • Your application will be reviewed with the Coordinator, Student Engagement to ensure your Club meets the outlined criteria and aligns with current student experience needs. An email will be sent to you after your application is received.

  • Club Applications will be presented to the Student Government by the Student Vice-President, Student Life for Board review and consideration. Clubs are not guaranteed to be approved.

  • If your Club is approved, you will begin the club onboarding process with the Coordinator, Student Engagement.
