This year the Student Government will distribute $5,000 in Student Bursaries:
LOYALIST STUDENT GOVERNMENT BURSARY
- number of bursaries: 5
- amount: $500
- criteria: Available to all students in any program who demonstrate a financial need.
LOYALIST STUDENT GOVERNMENT EXCELLENCE BURSARY
- number of bursaries: 1
- amount: $1,000
- criteria: Available to returning students registered in any program who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 90% average.
CHARLES BENSON BURSARY
- number of bursaries: 1
- amount: $1,000
- criteria: Available to returning students who demonstrate a financial need and have a minimum 75% average. Must show involvement in student life, Loyalist College and the community. The students must provide a resume outlining their activities.
All of these bursaries are presented at the Awards Ceremony in the fall. Apply for bursaries online at myLoyalist.com. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 14th at 12 noon.
